“If I learned anything from working in film production, it’s that every opportunity counts. You just have to search for them," says Miles Labat '14, who didn't think twice before applying to the inaugural Oberlin Screenwriters Intensive (OSI), a three-day event held on campus during the 2023 Winter Term. Tailored to aspiring TV and movie writers, OSI invites highly motivated alumni and students to workshop a feature-length screenplay or episodic pilot script in one-on-one sessions with established writers and dedicated mentors.
