Syracuse fell to Pitt 77-73 Saturday at the JMA Wireless Dome. SU led at halftime but couldn’t keep up with the Panthers in the second half, leading to its sixth ACC loss.
Center Eddie Lampkin Jr. led the Orange with a career-high 23 rebounds, and guard J.J. Starling tacked on 16 points. Still, it wasn’t enough to top Pitt, led by Jaland Lowe’s 17 second-half points.
