#MoodyPride: We are thrilled to announce that Deb Lewis has been recognized as the 2024 Teaching Excellence Award recipient! Nominated by their students, this award honors one Moody College faculty member for outstanding teaching. An associate professor of practice in the Department of Radio-Television-Film, Deb has had an extraordinary impact on her students. Many call her an unforgettable teacher who has had a “life-changing impact on their lives, professionally and personally.” Her students say her classes are always organized, structured and detailed, but still exciting and dynamic. She always finds the time to support her students with their assignments and projects, often going above and beyond to help them plan for classes and film shoots outside her own. The passion she has for her work is contagious. That enthusiasm always makes her classes fun and insightful while challenging her students to grow and hone their craft. Congratulations, Deb!
