Young and old, carrying their belongings on their backs, their strength and the longing in their hearts, they walk back to their homes, their memories, their land. There are no homes waiting—only rubble—but still, they return. Despite facing genocide and having virtually nothing to return to, they are defying expectations. In masses, they walk back to prove that this land is theirs, and nothing can take it away.
