Maria Conde is one of the newly drafted forwards for the Bay Area’s new WNBA team, The Golden State Valkyries, for the upcoming 2025 opening season. Conde, born in Madrid, Spain has played for multiple international teams including, Czech League Team, USK Praha, Polish Team, Wisła Can-Pack Kraków and for the Spanish National Team. She attended Florida State from 2015 - 2017, averaging 15.6 MPP and 3.3PPG in her sophomore year. In 2019 she was a 3rd round pick for the WNBA team Chicago Sky. On Dec. 6, 2024, Maria Conde was drafted as 1 of 7 international players to join the Golden State Valkyries in San Francisco, CA.
