On December 3, 2022, the inaugural RetroMania Wrestling Champion would be crowned when WARHORSE battled Tommy Dreamer as part of Stand Alone Wrestling's "Contest of Champions" in Toms River, New Jersey. This match was part of a phenomenal card that evening that included matches featuring other RetroMania Wrestling roster members, including Nick Aldis, Matt Cardona, Brian Myers, and lastly Hollywood Nova -- who competed in his retirement match.
