Wake Forest University and Winston-Salem State University came together for a meaningful MLK Day of Service Read-In event, where students volunteered as “Reading Buddies” for local children. The event honored Dr. King’s message of literacy and community service through interactive activity stations designed for elementary school-aged children. Kids explored his core ideals and went home with books to inspire and support their learning. This marks the 16th year of this annual event. #ProHumanitate #OurMottoMeansMore
