Just a casual Monday morning before school. My Dad tells me to stop allowing this - but I haven’t put my foot down yet. It’s impressive to me, honestly. I watch her little brain think & plan what she wants to do - she has a vision & when she doesn’t execute she tries again and again- she’s using her creativity and learning to “fail” constantly. When she’s done, she cleans everything up, cares for her things & she knows if she doesn’t do that, she won’t be allowed to have makeup anymore. There’s no rules to parenting & I firmly believe providing independence opportunities is critical for growth in young minds - even if that means letting them put blue eyeshadow on🤣 Also, our language / self talk is always about how beautiful we are without makeup—— with makeup & dresses we are “FANCY” - - ❤️ What do you guys think?
