Geyer purchased the “little tiny hole in the wall” from the previous owner who sold it for $500. He had returned from traveling the world, and coming back from Nepal, he named the store after the Annapurna mountains.
According to Geyer, the reason for this upcoming conclusive closure is due to the fact that he does not have a lease for the location and a restaurant is set to take over the new lease. Now, Geyer is happy to move on from Annapurna, as he will be turning 80 years old next month.
