Julia Pandaleon ’27 spent her summer researching two native ant species. After five weeks observing their behavior and parasitic relationship, she is now investigating the brain structures of both species, focusing on size differences in key areas. Denison’s Summer Scholars Program allows students from all disciplines to explore a topic of their choosing and learn outside of a traditional grade or credit focused environment.
