Happy Lunar New Year and Spring Festival, banana slugs!! 🧧🐍✨ Last Wednesday (Jan. 22nd), College Nine, JRL College, The COCO and the International Student Services & Programs team collaborated on a Lunar New Year kickoff event to ring in the Year of the Snake with food, activities, performances, and community!! 😋🧧🎊 Lunar New Year, also known as the Spring Festival, or Chinese New Year, marks the beginning of the year following the traditional lunar calendar (typically around late January to mid February) and is celebrated all over the world! 🏮 A week long cultural holiday full of festivities and celebration for a prosperous and vibrant year ahead!
