UPDATE 1/30/25: A controversial bill that would have allowed Wyoming landowners to sell their big-game tags for a profit will not move forward in the state legislature, according to a letter signed by multiple conservation organizations and shared with Outdoor Life Wednesday. These organizations, representing the interests of everyday hunters, have pushed back on the bill since it was introduced Jan. 16, citing concerns that it could lead to the privatization of Wyoming’s big-game herds.
