Our SeattleKraken have placed goaltender Philipp Grubauer on waivers for the purpose of assigning him to their AHL affiliate Coachella Valley Firebirds. This move comes hours after an ugly loss for the Kraken, where several defensive breakdowns put Grubauer in a tough position all night long and he was "Hung out to dry" per head coach Dan Bylsma. Eeli Tolvanen and Brandon Montour also agreed that the team played poorly in front of Grubauer. It will be interesting to see who backs up Joey Daccord going forward.
