JV-A KNIGHTS 2, LOBOS 0: The boys JV-A soccer team stayed undefeated through four preseason games after a 2-0 victory at Lehman in a scrimmage on Jan. 17. Junior center attacking midfielder Gianni Lento praised the team’s performance, particularly its ability to create scoring chances. “The team did well attacking in the final third,” Lento said. “We had a lot of great through balls, communication and shots, which helped us dominate offensively.” While the team excelled up front, Lento acknowledged there were areas to improve, especially on defense. “We could have done better in the back third,” he said. “We were struggling to play out of the back and connect the ball.
