A rare and historically significant racing prototype, the 1954 Autobleu 750 MM Coupé is set to be a highlight of The Grand Palais Sale next week. Built by the short-lived French manufacturer Autobleu, this unique sports-racer was designed for endurance competition, featuring a tubular chassis, a tuned 750cc Renault engine, and a streamlined body by aerospace engineer Marcel Riffard. The car competed in the 1954 Mille Miglia with Jean Bianchi and Jean Sigrand, though an accident forced its early retirement. It returned in 1955 and 1956 but failed to finish, and also raced in the 12 Heures Internationales de Reims in 1956, placing 11th.
