When specifying them, keep a few things in mind though: 1️⃣ Ensure the wall structure is reinforced to support the sink’s weight—marble can be pretty heavy! The floating nature can sometimes complicate access to pipes or drain connections, as well. 2️⃣ Work with a fabricator who can align mitered edges to perfection. Any slight misalignment can stand out! You can ask them for photos of their work if you’ve never worked with them before. 3️⃣ For large format slabs, it’s also a good idea to consider the natural veins or patterns that may affect the overall aesthetic when cutting, as these patterns can change when creating templates. 4️⃣ Add a slight slope to the basin of your integrated sink for effective water drainage.
