BATTLE AGAINST THE STARS: The JV girls basketball team traveled to Ann Richards tonight and defeated the Stars 46-12. Freshman Iris Head feels that throughout the game the team succeeded in its plan to establish more open looks and communicate clearly with one another. Because of this success, their shots were more consistent and they had more opportunities to score. “The best moment from the game for me was probably during the second quarter,” Head said. “I thought we moved the ball really well, and we got a really good shot off it. It feels really good to play well as our season is concluding.” As the girls basketball season comes to an end, Head feels that the entire team has worked hard and has grown a lot together.
