The long-anticipated Ritz-Carlton food hall, The Flock, has opened in downtown Portland. Its name an amalgamation of “food” and “block,” The Flock is just that — a dining hall taking up an entire block of Southwest Ninth Avenue. Nestled in the high profile Ritz-Carlton, the food hall blends the spirit of Portland with the luxury of its upstairs neighbors, said Steven Fang, one of Flock’s owners and lead developers. “Flock also means community for us,” said Fang. “We want to build a community for not just restaurants, but community, for people to gather.” Click the link in our bio to read more.
