Ever wondered what our Chemical, Biological, Radiological/Disaster Victim Identification Unit (CBR/DVIU) gets up to on typical day? Like the name, the answer is A LOT! We recently joined them on a shift to show us the kind of work they get up to (even if we weren’t allowed to attend a real crime scene, fair). This is just one example of the type of scenes the unit attends to. Others include: πŸ‘©β€πŸ”¬ processing scenes relating to clandestine drug laboratories πŸ‘©β€πŸ”¬ suspicious unidentified substances (white powder jobs) πŸ‘©β€πŸ”¬ chemical, biological and radiological related scenes πŸ‘©β€πŸ”¬ high risk human remains recovery πŸ‘©β€πŸ”¬ recovery of human remains from incidents resulting in mass fatalities. #DITL #Forensics #ForensicServices #Science
