This year, I had the opportunity to pace my dad during his second Moab 240 Endurance Run. The Moab 240 is a 240-mile endurance race with a total elevation gain & loss of over 31,564 feet. He finished the run in 102 hours & 24 minutes— about 12 hours faster than last year!
Since I had never run long distances before, I was uncertain about what my body could handle & unsure how many miles I could help my dad with. But, being surrounded by so many inspirational people, encouragement from new friends, & seeing my dad at the mile 200 aid station on top of Geyser Pass, I knew I had to go for it!
