This #BlackHistoryMonth, we’ll be celebrating #MotownMonday each week, spotlighting music from some of the most influential black artists in history. 🎶 Today we’re honoring The Supremes’ “You Can’t Hurry Love”, an instant hit for the group that became their seventh chart topper. The track was based on a gospel song entitled “You Can’t Hurry God,”which was sung by Dorothy Love Coates and the Gospel Harmonettes, a gospel group based in Birmingham, Alabama.
