This Black History Month, we honor the resilience, contributions, and stories of the Black community. We also recognizing the challenges that persist—including food insecurity. According to a uscdornsife study, Black residents in LA County (31%) experience food insecurity at three times the rate of white residents (11%). At Meals on Wheels West, we proudly serve a diverse community of clients and are joined by a diverse community of volunteers, ensuring that nutritious meals and vital support reach those looking for support.
