Our honest thoughts on hiking ‘The Narrows’ in winter 👇… Hiking #TheNarrows in winter is a test of endurance—not just physically, but mentally. For most of the hike we were cold. The kind of cold that settles into your bones, that makes you question your decisions as you step into waist-deep water, feeling the current push against you. But then, somewhere in the middle of it all, as you’re fighting through the river’s pull, you forget. The cold fades, replaced by focus, by movement, by the sheer thrill of navigating the canyon. And then you stop. You step onto the banks, and the cold finds you again. But this time, it’s different. It’s quieter. There’s no one else here—just us, the towering canyon walls, and the river carving its way through time. We’ve hiked The Narrows in other seasons, but having this place entirely to ourselves?
