The all-star showcase games mark the official end of the college football season as players prepare for the NFL Draft. Players often pick what helmet they wear during these games, and get the opportunity to decorate their lids with other team logos. For the first time since introducing the facemask color options, all former Auburn Tigers wore the standard navy mask for their respective games. Payton Thorne is the only former Tiger this season to make appearances in two games. At the Hula Bowl, Thorne was missing the AU logo on the right side of his helmet. Both decals were present for the East-West Shrine Bowl. In the Senior Bowl, Eugene Asante sported a dark NXTRND visor after not wearing a visor during his time at Auburn. Austin Keys joined the old tradition of slapping many other team decals to his helmet for the Hula Bowl. The AU decals were present for practices but replaced for game time.
