Samantha Gilfond ’25 is excited about her next steps after Oberlin as she joins Riverside Acceleration Capital as a private equity analyst. As a double major in mathematics and economics, a minor in statistical modeling, and a leader on the Oberlin Women’s Soccer team, Samantha began her journey into private equity while here at Oberlin. Initially entering college with different academic interests, she soon discovered a passion for math and economics through our interdisciplinary curriculum. In the spring of her sophomore year, she enrolled in Principles of Finance, which explored the intersection of quantitative analysis and the tactical application of social science.
