This Black History Month I want to take the time to acknowledge and celebrate the women that have paved the way for me and have inspired me to pursue a professional career in psychology. ✨ Dr. Rosemary Phelps. Dr. Phelps was my dissertation chair at The University of Georgia (universityofga). ✨ Dr. Gail Wyatt. She was the first Black woman psychologist I ever saw in the media. ✨ Dr. Kecia Thomas (drkmt). She has been conducting groundbreaking work in the area of Black women in the workplace and, was one of my University of Georgia professors.
