We can all experience sad days, anxious days, and days you don't feel like going to work or completing your to-do list. And that's OK. It's OK to not be OK sometimes. Just like physical health, our mental health won't always be great. It's normal to have poor mental health at some points in life. Just don't stay there, in that "not OK" space. When we experience poor mental health for several days in a row or when our well-being affects our ability to complete our daily tasks often, that is when we must seek help. You can try to help yourself by practicing healthy coping skills or scheduling self-care. Some strategies include increasing your exercise, eating healthier, having conversations with friends and loved ones, or meditation and journaling. Also know that it is normal to need to schedule therapy and/or talk to your doctor about your mental health.
