Daniel Penny landed a finance job at a powerhouse Silicon Valley venture capital firm less than two months after he was acquitted in the subway chokehold death of Jordan Neely. The 26-year-old ex-Marine has been picked up by investment firm Andreessen Horowitz, according to an internal memo obtained by The Free Press. In addressing Penny's seismic court case, which bitterly divided Americans, the company representative praised Penny's 'courage' and urged fellow employees at the investment firm not to reduce him to 'the worst moment' in his life.
