The Pet and Livestock Protection Act would remove federal Endangered Species Act protections in most states, including the long-recovered Western Great Lakes population of gray wolves.⁠ ⁠ Congressmen from Wisconsin and Colorado introduced a bill Friday that seeks to remove the gray wolf from the Endangered Species Act across the Lower 48 and return management to the states. The language of the bill would also prohibit courts from reviewing and potentially blocking the order.
