The Waterfront Blues Festival is peak Portland summer – a four-day weekend festival over the Fourth of July featuring music, food and fireworks in downtown Portland. But this year, the festival will be half as long as previous festivals, taking place on Friday, July 4, and Saturday, July 5. And it will have a main stage “in the ‘bowl’ along the Willamette River,” according to a press release sent out Thursday.
