Shout out to Brianna, the U.S. Program Manager for the GOA at the obamafoundation, for bringing together a powerful group of women leaders earlier this month. Why am I so happy in the second slide? Because someone gifted Amber (thegirlbehindthebrand_ )with a copy of PUSHOUT when she was 15-yrs old. She read it and was so moved by the material that she started her own organization for Black girls! She later went to Hampton and became a Devastating Diva of DST!! I am so #ProudToBe when my Sorors are leading work and actively engaged with other women in communities to positively impact the lives of our girls.
