Starting the Lunar New Year off right! 🐍 Last weekend, staff and students from SCL’s Asian and Asian American Center (A3C) celebrated 15 years of advocacy and support for Cornell’s APIDA community at the Cornell Asian Alumni Association’s annual Pan-Asian Banquet in Chinatown, New York City. Alumni, faculty, staff, students, friends and family members came together to celebrate the Lunar New Year while honoring the 2025 PAB Banquet honoree Cornell Provost Kavita Bala. Katie Chen ’24 delivered an inspiring speech detailing her experience as a student staff member of A3C, focusing on the importance of having affirming spaces on college campuses. The event included an eleven-course banquet, cultural performances and a silent auction to benefit A3C.
