A Raider school record fell at yesterday’s GHSA State Swim Meet Prelims, and the team is back for finals today. Check out the latest update from Coach Hickey, and let’s GO Raiders! 🙌 Finish strong! — Nine Raiders represented Riverwood at the State 5A Swimming Championships preliminary round on Friday, February 7, at Georgia Tech. 🔹The relay team of Freshman Skyelar Richards, Sophomores Caroline Kittrell and Katie Kessell and Senior Kenzie Robinson set a new school record in the 400 Freestyle Relay. The new record of 3:40.89 bested the previous mark, set in 2023. 🔹The same foursome were the second fastest in the qualifiers in the 200 Free Relay, just .33 seconds behind top seed Lassiter. Riverwood won this race last year when we were in the 6A division.
