February was supposed to be about resetting, relaxing & regrouping- & honestly, it’s been anything but. But, what February has shown me is how blessed I am to have this little team of mine. A husband who steps up & steps in. A man who both protects & soothes. A Dad who knows that word is a verb & not just a given name. A daughter whose heart is so pure & so kind. A girl who’s never afraid to tell you how she feels, but doesn’t forget her ‘please’ & ‘thank yous.’ The kind of kid that makes her bed every morning, does the dishes at night, doesn’t fight bed time, but wants to wear hot pink eyeshadow & Minnie ears to school. We always tell each other we have ‘the best family ever’ - but the last few weeks I’ve really, REALLY felt that.
