“My mum’s parents died in the late 90s/early 2000s… She was left so lonely with nothing to live for. With the Crows’ success in the 90s, she discovered the Club and put all the love she had left to give into the Adelaide Crows. It gave her something to support and look forward to every week. Then, I came along in 2006. Ever since I can remember she’s raised me to be a die hard Crows fan. We’re certainly a Crows household, thanks to my mum. Now, that passion has been passed on to me, probably even stronger. We try not to miss a single game, it’s a horrible feeling. We missed Jordan Dawson’s Showdown and watched it at home. We screamed so loud I think the neighbours nearly called the police. Being there at the oval, hearing the crowd screaming, seeing the flags… it’s an experience like no other” People are the heart and soul of the Adelaide Football Club. It’s time to tell our stories.
