Welcome back to #SaturdaySnapshot 📸 ⛳ The Country Club Estates Apartments on Palm Tree Boulevard were some of the first apartments built by Gulf American in Cape Coral. They were located near the golf course. 🏘️ While these apartments preceded today's modern condominium concept, they nevertheless served the same purpose as second homes for retirees who wanted to spend time in Florida and live on a golf course but did not need a single-family home. Today the area is still known as Country Club Estates, and the apartment complex is still there.
