Welcome back to #SaturdaySnapshot! 📸 👇 Gulf American, the company behind Cape Coral's development, continued its plan of offering the best amenities to lure new customers to Cape Coral by building the nine-hole Cape Coral Country Club golf course. Opening day was July 8, 1961. A second nine holes were added the following year. This photograph shows course professional Ed Caldwell in front of the pro shop and snack bar building.
