Just outside of Socorro, New Mexico, lies a 40-square-mile research and training facility known as Energetic Materials and Testing Center (EMRTC) - a desert laboratory where highly skilled bomb specialists work with explosives. In this extended clip, @chriscconnelly takes us inside EMRTC, where he speaks with Anthony May, one of ATF’s top bomb experts who worked on the Gary Triano case. Research engineers at the facility also re-enact the 1996 bombing that took Triano’s life and shed light on how their work can help solve an investigation.
