On tonight’s all-new 20/20, Co-Anchor @DebRobertsABC explores the case of Lita McClinton Sullivan, highlighting the years-long search for justice. According to the U.S. Department of Justice, 34% of women murdered in 2021 were killed by an intimate partner. Black women are disproportionately affected, making up nearly 30% of intimate partner homicide victims, though they represented only 13.4% of the U.S. population during this period. During this #DomesticViolenceAwarenessMonth we are sharing one resource available if you or a loved one are experiencing domestic violence, please call the National Domestic Violence Hotline: 1-800-799-7233 or access help through their chat at thehotline.org.
