My answer is simple: I believe that with all the ugliness in the world—why not contribute something positive to the universe and alter the narrative? After a six-hour surgery, a portion of Janet's healthy liver was removed and implanted into a recipient in Murray, Utah on October 30, 2024. The best part? The remaining portion of her liver and the recipient's implanted portion will regenerate to the full size of an adult liver over time! But Janet doesn't want to stop there. With only 100 double-living organ donors in the world, she would eagerly donate a kidney to another stranger who needs a life...
