Samir was born and raised in Dharavi, one of the biggest slums in Mumbai. He was proud of his home and neighborhood, and at a young age he also developed a love for traveling and exploring. He decided to start his company, Magical Mumbai Tours, to give tours in Dharavi that would allow others to see the self sustained economy and way of life in this dense area. Gradually he expanded his tours to the whole city, and in 2018 started using Whatsapp Business. Before WhatsApp, it was challenging for Samir to manage all of the messages and requests that he would receive from customers.
