For the launch of our PUMA x Modibodi period activewear, we held an open conversation with rugby league player @tianapenitani, around the current state of play for periods and sport. Periods matter. One out of every four girls drops out of sport during adolescence, citing fear of leakage as a key factor. Period poverty is a global health issue which reinforces gender inequality and increases hardship for women. Plus, the plastic in disposable menstrual products lives on for at least 500 years after their brief usefulness has passed.
