"Coach said this (400-yard freestyle) relay would be really important if we wanted to win," Tigers junior Sam Koenisberg said. "We all kind of knew it. The adrenaline was pumping and we got it done." Koenisberg, senior Arda Suer, freshman Emmanuel Yepez (pictured, swimming the third leg of the relay) and senior Lucas Porta won the event in a time of 3:13.05. The Mamaroneck boys swimming team scored 283 points. Horace Greeley took second, scoring 266 points. Scarsdale took third, scoring 245 points. Meanwhile, only two swimmers in the entire meet won multiple individual Section 1 titles - Clarkstown South senior Isiah Francis and Scarsdale junior Kieran Lee. Francis won the 50 free in a time of 21.47 seconds.
