Ernst Fuchs was born on this day in 1930 🔥 #ErnstFuchs was an Austrian artist and a founder of the Vienna School of Fantastic Realism. In 1982, Fuchs became the first European #BMWArtCar artist and decorated the BMW 635Ci. Painted on the occasion of the “Art as Illustration — Illustration as Art” exhibition, it was the first BMW Art Car based on a production car. The luminous colors of Fuchs’ Art Car share a common thread with Fuchs’ other work.
