After experiencing nagging pain in her right shoulder for four years, Rose Truong made an appointment with her doctor. Although it hadn't metastasized, the tumor was impacting the intersection of the arm and scapula, as well as the muscles that move the shoulder. Her multidisciplinary team at Scripps MD Anderson Cancer Center developed an innovative approach that successfully treated her cancer and returned her shoulder function.
