I picked up a pencil to draw Sailor Moon when I was 10 and basically never put it down. Mostly, I consider myself a character designer and storyteller, but I also use art to explore my own inner life, queerness, and the subjects of feminity, power, and growth through feminine figures and florals. And often it's just about getting lost in the detail work of a micron or cutting out the fiddly bits of paper, no meaning required.
