WARM CUP O CUPID: Leading up to Valentine’s Day, sophomore student council members have been selling hot cocoa before school in a fundraiser to raise money for their future prom. The fundraiser was called “Cup O’ Cupid” and was set up at two tables by the office and breezeway on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. The fundraiser was one of many hosted by the sophomore class this year and helped them inch towards the goal for senior year prom. Berit Ellwanger, student council vice president, played a role in helping to organize the event. “Selling little cups of cheer and cozy felt like a good idea because it’s super cold out so we were just like, why don’t we get a warm little treat for everyone?” Ellwanger said.
