We’re sharing a special edition of our AOW series, and it’s our Champions of the Week! A Riverwood freshman, two sophomores, and a senior brought home Riverwood’s first State Championship of the year, and we want to highlight a few things that make this foursome of Kenzie Robinson, Skyelar Richards, Katie Kessell, and Caroline Kittrell so special. 🔹Kenzie & Katie are two-peat gold medalists in the 200-Freestyle Relay. 🔹Kenzie dove in .70 seconds behind Lassiter on Saturday and proceeded to run down the 100 Freestyle State Champion for the win. 🔹All four swimmers qualified for multiple events, and ALL FOUR scored in all four of their events — two relays and two individual events each. 🔹This group broke TWO school records last weekend. 🔹Riverwood has brought home an Individual Swim or Dive Championship for five of the last seven years. •2019 Haley Allen - Girls Diving •2021 Brandon Rice - Boys Diving •2022 Cale Martter - Boys 200 IM •2024 Katie Kessell, Hannah Gosch, Emma ...
