Many flyers are on edge after a series of unrelated plane crashes including the midair collision in Washington, D.C., the medevac crash in Philadelphia and now a Delta flight flipping upside down during a crash landing in Toronto. While the recent incidents appear to be coincidental, the U.S. is still short some 3,000 to 4,000 air traffic controllers with many working mandatory overtime.
