Winter Term is not only a great time for personal projects, but an opportunity to pursue micro-internships during the course of January. Gideon Hurtado-Sher ’28 had a research based internship at Lingotto, where they wrote a paper on commercial relations between China and the U.S. since 2017. They focused on how aerospace, electronics, and auto manufacturing will be affected by Trump's proposed tariff increases.
"Through this internship, I firmed my ability to collect information and establish predictive analysis. This opportunity was wildly beneficial in cementing my academic capabilities...Although my paper encompassed very specific aspects of foreign economic policy, the skills I learned are transferable anywhere." Gideon said.
